Ginger has antiviral, antibacterial, antiparasitic, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and expectorant properties. It boosts the immune system, warms and induces sweating (which helps push fever and toxins out of the body), and calms coughs and sore throats quickly. It also stimulates appetite, which is important to sick individuals weakened by infection.

Honey and Lemon

Honey has natural medicinal properties, which are good for throat and lemon has vitamin C that provides cure to coughs and colds. Organic honey is better to use as it has no impurities. Honey’s soothing properties not only cure the child of dry cough but it is easy on a child’s stomach too.

Turmeric Magic

There are many ways in which we can use turmeric as a solution to the cough.Here are some: Drinking hot milk with turmeric is a traditional remedy for cough, which is shown to even have antibacterial effects. A glass of hot milk is mixed with half teaspoon of turmeric powder and drink warmly to get better relief.

Drink Warm Liquids

Avoid cold drinks and drink warm water which will helps you in soothing the inflammation in the throat. People love warm soup rather than just hot water. So have drinks at your wish but remember, it should be healthy and warm.
